We are two days into practice and off to a great start. Our numbers so far are;
Bantam -16
Peewee -24
Junior-39
Senior -24
We also have around a dozen cheerleaders.
Please tell all your freinds that we are still taking sign-ups through August 26th.
I know the kids are all hot and tired , just remember the work they put in now will help them as the year goes on.
If you have not been sized or picked your number yet we will be taking care of that Monday night. Please make sure to be there and remember Monday is our first practice in pads.
We will be having a brief parent meeting Thursday night ( July 31st ) at the beginning of practice. Please try to be there.

This is the last sign-up before practices begin. If you have signed up but still have not turned in a picture and/or birth certificate PLEASE bring it out to the field this Thursday night.
Fees for football and cheer this year will be $195.
Football practice will begin Monday July 28th at 6pm.
Coach Katie will be contacting the cheerleaders about practice times.

We will be having a free football camp from 10am - 12pm and a free cheer camp from 10am -11am.

Lordy Lordy Coach Hank is 40 !!!!!!
Coach Hank hit the BIG 40 today and Coach Dale sent us some pics of them having a little fun with him at work.
Hank has been a coach with us for 4 years and we all would like to wish him a Happy Birthday !

Ellendale Bears in the news !

Laura Galloway (left), along with Cortney and Dale Wells, were on hand at Appling Middle School's recent Health Fair and Wellness Walk and represented Ellendale Bears Shelby Youth Sports. The trio reminded youngsters and parents that football and cheerleading sign-ups will be at Ellendale Park, 7214 Cedar Road, July 12 and 19 from 10 a.m. to noon for ages 5-14. Cost is $195. Kids must bring a current photo and birth certificate. Camps are also available. For information, visit the Web site at ellendalebears.com or call 313-8352.
