Baseball 2009
We have finalized the plans for our inaugural baseball season! Our first sign-up will be at Ellendale Park on Sat 1/24 from 11 AM- 1 PM. The cost per player is $200.00. This fee includes the following:
Team Fee for Bartlett Rec
Team Insurance
Uniform and Equipment- this includes:
Jersey / Pants / Belt / Cap / Batting Helmet / Equipment Bag
All uniforms and equipment will have the players number on them.
We plan on playing within the Bartlett Rec league as well as playing approx. 3 Tournaments. The Tounament fees are not included in the fee. We will need to conduct some fundraising activities to cover these fees. Or we will need to collect upon entering these tournaments.
The age cutoff is the childs age as of May 1. The age groups are 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12. We plan on having no more than 11 players per team. If we have the demand we may have 2 teams per age group.
We will be competing as an independent team within Bartlett Rec. Our goal is to give our Ellendale kids an opportunity to play alongside each other outside of football. We will not be participating in any competative tournaments at this point. We will enter in AA tournaments and below. Practice will begin in early March.
