Hot / Bad Weather
Practice in pads has been cancelled today and tomorrow due to the heat.
We will continue to practice in shorts and t-shirt. The rules are that the football commissioner will make his ruling on practices by 3pm the day of practice so you can see trying to call well over 100 children in a 3 hour period is not realistic. Especially considering our coaches and board members have their own full-time jobs to handle as I am sure most of you do. The info line 901-313-8352 was updated as well over the weekend with this information.

Jersey sizing
If your child has not been fitted for their jersey yet please bring their shoulder pads with them to practice tomorrow.
We will be fitting kids before practice (5:30-6pm) and after practice (8-8:30pm) tomorrow (Tuesday 8-5-08). We have to have our order turned in Wednesday morning so please make sure your child is there with shoulder pads to be fitted.
Schedule
We do not have a game schedule yet and will probably not have it until Monday August 25th. The schedule will be posted on the website as soon as we get it.
E-mail
Several of our coaches have expressed that they would like to keep the primary route of communication between them and the parents via e-mail.
Please remember to check your e-mail regularly for updates from your coaches and team parents.
Future Newsletters
We have decided that printed newsletters will not be the norm this year.
We will still do regular updates that will be on the website and blog as well as e-mail updates. Both the cost involved as well as the fact that for years all of us have watched over half of the printed newsletters be tossed on the ground and never make it to the parent’s hands have pushed us towards this decision. We will make a copy of updates and have them posted at the concession stand for you to read if you do not have internet access.
